THE BBC LOOKS AT THE GLOBAL APPEAL OF DAY OF THE DEAD
This BBC article, written by Emma Kasprzak, looks at the rise in popularity of the Mexican Festival - Day Of The Dead.
Known in Mexico as Dia De Los Muertos, Day Of The Dead has been celebrated in Mexico for many thousands of years, but over the past decade it has become more and more popular throughout the world, including right here in London.
For example this year the Wahaca chain of restaurants run by Thomasina Miers are running an festival/fiesta at The Vaults in London called The Wahaca Day Of The Dead Fiesta. We'll cover this amazing event in a blog post next week.
